WHO WE ARE? First Christian Church is part of a worldwide movement of Christians who, from the early 1800's have sought unity in the body of Christ through a plea to follow the New Testament model of faith and practice. Our congregation is independent of any denomination, but one with others in Christ. We make no claim to be the only Christians, just Christians only. Our main goals are to bring glory to God and to bring the lost to Christ. Everything we do must help us to fulfill one of these goals. Since 1938 First Christian Church has severed this community, always attempting to shine the light of Christ in truth and love.
WHAT WE BELIEVE Our only creed is Christ; the only statement of our creed is the New Testament. We believe in all-powerful God who desires to have a relationship with human beings, whom he created. We believe that God reveals himself to people through his inspired Word, the Bible. We believe God sent His Son Jesus to save humankind through his death on a cross and his resurrection from the dead. We believe Jesus calls us to respond to him through faith, repentance, confession, baptism and living a Christian lifestyle. We believe in God’s Holy Sprit who dwells in Christians, guiding them in their walk with God.
| HOW WE WORSHIP Each Sunday morning at 10:30AM the family at First Christian Church gather in the auditorium of the church building to worship our Lord. We are called by his word to gather around His tables in communion with him and with our brothers and sisters in Christ. This is the center of our worship. It is the celebration of what Christ has done for us. We also praise our Lord through singing, instrumental music, biblical sermons, prayer and giving. We believe that worship should be a celebration of God’s many blessings. We come to worship for the sole purpose of honoring God through meditation, praise and fellowship. We cordially invite others to join in with us in our worship of God and always strive to provide a warm welcome to them.
HOW WE LEARN Biblical learning is very important at First Christian Church. Sunday school, at 9:30 each Sunday morning, is the most important time of learning. We have classes for all ages and many learning styles. We also have children’s church during each Sunday morning’s worship hour as well as a variety of activities for youth. Wednesday evening also provides an opportunity for biblical learning with an adult Bible study time. Bring your Bible and join us!

WHY WE EXIST
Our mission is to bring people to wholeness in Christ through evangelizing the lost by sharing the gospel of Christ, educating the saint by developing them into Christlike maturity, exalting God by worshiping Him in sprit and in truth, edifying God’s family by brining them into closer fellowship, and equipping God’s people to serve the Lord and extend His love to one another and or community.
In short, we exist to .... .... evangelize the lost, .... educate the saints, .... exalt God, .... edify the church, .... equip the people of God.
