Some 26 years ago, the women of First Christian formed a group and called it Christian Ladies Fellowship. Every woman member or friend of the church is considered a member of the CLF. There is no roll call or dues. A plate is passed for the support of the projects upon which the ladies have decided. The purpose of the group is service to the minister, the board, the members and any outside group with a need. The group, also, supports fellowship by way of church-wide dinners at Christmas, Mother and Daughter Banquet, Homecoming, etc. The meetings are at 6:00pm the second Thursday of each month open with a short devotion and prayer. This is followed by reports, new and old business and conclude with a pra-yer circle. The business meetings are held to an hour or less, A time of fellowship follows with light dessert and a game or joke or just good conversation. The group works hard and has a good time doing it. All ladies with a desire to serve are welcome to join. Come visit and see what we're all about.
